Coal Burning
Coal is a wonderful fuel because is gives that warm glow, You have 2 options of which coal to buy. Generally in built up areas, you are only allowed to burn smokeless coal. But if you are allowed to burn regular coal, it gives more heat for longer. Check with your local council.
Fire Wood
Adding firewood to your fire will give you the beautiful flame on top of your coal. It also creates a perfect base for your fire which will help coal to get started. Add this on following the kindling wood as this is the easiest way to get the fire going. Make sure your wood is well seasoned to prevent chimney fires as unseasoned wood is not advised.
